01--Received full name,
YOB, and POB from Cheryl Direen-Wendell.
02--Found our John in
1930
census living with his mother, Viola, in Troy, NY (used Ancestry.com).
03--Found Viola and
husband John in
January 1920
census living in a boarding house in Troy, NY
(used Ancestry.com).
04--Found DOB and DOD for our John in U.S. Soc. Sec.
Death Index; living in Haskell, Passaic Co., NJ
(used Ancestry.com).
05--Found our John's grave in Paterson,
Passaic Co., NJ (used FindAGrave.com)--learned
his wife's name: Angelina
D'Argenzio.
06--Found two John Breens
in the 1910
census, one in Glens Falls, Warren Co., NY, the other in NY
City (used Ancestry.com).
07--Returned to this study in December 2021 some seven

being our 26.02 John G. Breen, Sr., not only since Glens
Falls is only about 20 miles from Troy but because in 1910
he is working as a cutter in a shirt factory. However,
I just noticed (24 Dec 2021) that his
father was b. in NH, so this cannot be he.]
