We earlier had assumed that his wife--their mother--was deceased, and that perhaps she died in chidbirth with Joseph B.  But Cousin Rhonda Jones has corrected that erroneous assumption of mine. She writes: John, in your notes for the census of 20 January 1920, you have listed that James Moore's wife must have been deceased at this time, as she was not listed in the census.  The true fact is that she left her husband and three children; no one really knows for sure where she went, but she came back later when my grandfather "Jack E. Moore" was around 17 or 18 and another child, don't remember his age right off but it is listed in my files and his name was Willie Oscar "Moore"; though none believed he was truly a child of James W. Moore's, "Jim" always treated him as his own.  This is from my grandmother who was the wife of Jack E. Moore, son of Jim "James" W.
