These are clearly the parents of and family of Jenna's grandfather, William Shannon Gwyn.  Also present in the home is W. S. Gwyn's grandmother, Rose Ferrell. 

I looked for a Rose Ferrell in Findagrave.com and found one buried with her husband, Sanford Mead Ferrell, in the same cemetery as Raymond and Sheila Gwyn and the Kisner clan (see outline above).  The dates match up as well, so I am quite certain this is she. 

However, since her last name is Ferrell, she must be Raymond's MATERNAL grandmother; therefore, I'm listing Rose and Sanford as Shannon's wife's parents.

And now another problem arises.  We know from the 1920 and 1940 censuses that Raymond was b. in MO, and the 1920 census says his mother--Ms. Ferrell?-- was also b. in MO.  So why are her parents lvg. in WV in 1940, if this is true?

Hi, John! Thanks for getting in touch! Here is the updated information that I just got from my grandfather:
 
Shannon Gwyn (my paternal great great grandfather) (don't know wife's name, was from missouri, left when son Raymond L. Gwyn was 6 yrs old)
Raymond Lee Gwyn (my paternal great grandfather, deceased) and wife Sheila (my great grandmother, deceased, maiden name Kisner, mother was Agnes Kisner)
William Shannon Gwyn (my paternal grandfather) and wife Lois (my grandmother, deceased. Maiden name Field, mother was Lena Field) (my grandpa's twin sister Patty died of breast cancer at a young age, 30s or early 40s. He also has a half-sister who was his mother's child prior to marriage to William S. Gwyn- her name is April Stottlemire (used to be Holt and Neer - she married 3 times), still alive and living in Fairmont, WV. Patty, my grandfather's sister previously mentioned, had Denise and Cheri, neither of which have any children. April had Alana (deceased, breast cancer, who has 3 children, William and Robert [twins, and Donald]), Melanie, Shiela, Jeff Holt, Eddie, and Raymond Neer)
William Raymond Gwyn (my dad (age 52, dob 5/16/60), Kevin Gwyn (my uncle), Brian Gwyn (deceased in 1984 at age 17 in motorcycle accident, uncle), Kimberly Gwyn (Aunt, age 39, dob 5/16/73). (My dad's wife (my mother) is JoAnn Gwyn (maiden name Attenberger), dob 12/03/62.

I'll have to call my grandpa again to get info about possible siblings of his father (Raymond L.) and his grandfather (Shannon). My paternal grandfather, William S. Gwyn, was born and raised in Fairmont, WV, and his father, Raymond L. Gwyn, was born in Triune, WV. He is not sure where Shannon Gwyn was born. (And, as they say, originally from Wales, but no one has any records or recollection of when or how!)
