From the 1930 entry, I speculate that she marries at age 18 to Mr. Sotero, bears him a daughter, Esperanza, then dies, leaving Esperanza, age 6 in 1930, to be raised by Cecilia's parents. Of course there could've been other older children as well, meaning that Esperanza could be a child of one of them and not Bonita
