I have reoriented this map 180 degrees so north is at the top. Adjustyour page view until top of map is at thirteen and bottom at ninety-five.The intersections of routes five and one-oh-nine should now appear at coordinatesA40. Written (now upside-down) is the label "C. to L. Rd." pointing toone-oh-nine. The pencil line crossing it marks the site of the old roadreplaced by today's route five. The house located at coordinates G56 isthe only surviving structure from the T of A. If one could find in theD C courthouse the original deed for this structure, one would then knowits lot number in the T of A and thus be able to plot the exact locationsof other buildings long disappeared.
